Hello 2018!

January 2, 2018

Well, actually this happened in December. 17th to be exact. Niner game against the Titans.

So, for a couple of years now, my friend, Zelia, has been asking me to join her at a 49ers Game. Her husband is security for the owner, blah, blah, blah and so on and so forth. I always decline her invitation because you know, the crowds, the traffic, the million dollars on food and drink, the icky bathrooms, I can't pause the game to GO to the bathroom. You get the picture.

FINALLY, I succumbed to the peer pressure. I had to leave the house by 8:45 a.m. because we had to be at the stadium by 11:00. And from the moment we left, it was an electrifying experience! I LOVED IT! I asked her if I could go to ALL the games from now on!

Mia met us at the parking lot and we headed to Will Call so Osh could let us in. No lines, no people. Private security escort to the owner's box.

We were there before the stadium opened to the public.

The game doesn't start for another couple of hours. We are watching the players warm up, wandering through the owners box looking at all the (FREE) foods they have. There is everything you can think of!

My Little Honey Bunch texts, "What are you going to do for the next couple of hours?" I send him this picture.

So after two years of not going, I decided I could watch the games like this every week! All the food and drink your heart desires, protected from the elements, former players wandering around. I like it!

Yeah, this is the way to watch a game! Not all squashed and burning hot or freezing cold.

The food was delicious! And did I mention FREE?

The guy behind Mia was 'somebody', but I couldn't figure out who. Anyone?

So there's all this commotion over another guy. Mia and Zelia say, "Who's that?" I look over and it's Jesse Sapolu! After taking pictures with him, he ends up hanging out with us for the remainder of the game.

And this guy with a Superbowl ring. Who is it? Anyone?

It was pretty funny when Zelia was telling Jesse that in futbol, you're supposed to kick the ball, not throw it. LOL He was amused.

He let me take a picture of his ring.

It was really nice hanging out with Jesse and hi fiving at the win!

Loved the big helmet!

Thanks for talking me into going, Ride or Dies. It was the best day ever!
