Mashed Potatoes

Rosy's Mashed Potatoes

I once made Twice Baked Mashed Potatoes, similar to this recipe (click here), and they were delicious! Unfortunately, it was way too much trouble for a lazy one, such as myself. So I modified the recipe. They're basically mashed potatoes with all the Twice Baked's fixings. Again, I didn't take a picture the other night when I made them so I plundered and pillaged the interwebs for a picture that looked similar to the ones I make.

What you need:

Place the sliced, rinsed potatoes in a pot of cold water. Add a generous amount of salt. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cook until soft. Depending on the amount, at least 10 minutes. Drain, add your butter, sour cream, cheese and bacon. Mash. Eat. Serve to your friends and they will (and have) proclaimed, "These are the best mashed potatoes I've ever eaten!" The Food Guy's daughter even said this to me!
