So you know how I can be velcroed to the couch for 5 days straight watching Real Housewives of INSERT CITY NAME HERE? So you know how my Little Honey Bunch is the complete opposite? Well, we decided that since we use our living room once a year, to open presents on Christmas, that we should re-purpose the room. It was either going to be the music room/recording studio or a dance studio. We decided it would be a dance studio for Nat to practice her dances and me to come up with my Zumba routines. My Little Honey Bunch said that once we took down Christmas, he would start the project.

He has vacillated over whether to build the workshop to build the dance studio first, or build the dance studio first. The latter won because it would be quicker.

So after the Baby Jesus incident, I found my Little Honey Bunch laying out his workshop he wants to build. The workshop will be on the side of the house but he was laying it out in the garage. He laid the dimensions all out in blue tape. He even put in doors.

He put in the workbench and even positioned his stool under it.

He did all this while I was out galavanting with the Zumba girls, probably eating at Giant Chef Burger. The next day, also while I was out galavanting with the Zumba girls, probably eating a Breakfast Pizza at Lazy Dog, my Little Honey Bunch got the dance studio started.

By the way, if you ever hear me complain about why I can't lose the 25 pounds I gained this year, please be so kind as to slap me upside my head.

He took the window shades and curtains down. He dismantled the tables and moved the love seat we're keeping, up to our bedroom. He created a new prized 'platform' that the cats actually fought over...there was hissing involved. It made him visibly smile.

Dance Studio Project

So today, I offered to help. I did not go to Zumba; therefore, I did not galavant with the Zumba girls, nor did I eat at Giant Chef Burger or Lazy Dog. I helped him move the plants and the sofas.

Dance Studio

Then I went to get velcroed for a while and caught up on some Watch What Happens Live episodes. After checking in a couple of times, he had already done all of this.

Dance Studio

Another episode.

Dance Studio

Another couple of episodes and he'll have the tile and baseboards out and the wood in. Ain't no moss ever gonna grow on that boy.

And now, off to get ready for the Costume Party I'm throwing at 6:30 tonight.

You know how when I go to a funeral, and you know I go to many, I always breathe a sigh of relief when the church doesn't crumble down around me?

So, my friend, Adrienne, gave me the lovely steel bracelet on the far right. She had one just like it but it had a religious cross instead of a circle. She said she did not get me a cross because she was afraid my flesh would start burning.

Then, when I was putting Christmas away, this happened.

Baby Jesus

Yup. Baby Jesus spontaneously combusted in my heathen hands.

Happy New Year!

January 3, 2015

Hello Bloggies! I hope you all had a wonderful last few weeks since we last spoke. It's been a world wind of setting up the new Zumba studio and the website, which I built (, Christmas celebrations, Proms, New Years, Nutcrackers, Aquariums. Phew! I need to update my Zumba page and still write my story about 'You Know Who'. I did get the 365 Project into 2015. I also started up my Happiness Project again. A happy thought written down each day for the next year. I hope to be able to concentrate more on building my Rodan + Fields business so stay tuned!

Here's just a randomness until I can get back to my computer. Off to celebrate another friend's birthday!
