July Happenings

August 7, 2019

I know it's well into August but, it was a hectic, dramatic, sad, sad July. There were a few bright moments. Like this one. Our outside cat, Harry, continues to catch all sorts of critters. The yard is full of deceased birdies. He had this one and we thought he was a gonner. Luckily, I got him and put him in this cage until he was strong enough to be let go.

Cousin Emily is off to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to medical school. Lisa and George had a little going away party for her and we got to meet Baby Estela for the first time.

And her cousin, Hunter, was there as well. It's funny seeing Amanda and Patrick with their own kids. I first met them when we started going to Eagle Lake and they were 4 and 5 years old.

Me and my Natalie Mia.

I love going to the Park House in Benicia. So beautiful!

I got a bee in my bonet and cleaned my She Shed. Now I can start on projects again.

Love hanging out with friends! Here with the Fitzie's at the Hyland's.

Fun with Friends

My Zumba Mami Mia's mom passed away in Mexico City on July 12. When she came back, she got a tattoo (from my son) in memory of her.

Then her dad passed away on July 19 and she came back and got another tattoo. We had lunch with Motsy, Boobie, Omar and Mia. This was actually on August 2.

Evelyn came to visit her family from Connecticut and we were able to get six of us Walnut Country Pre-School moms together for lunch. Wonderful ladies I've known for 20+ years! This was August 1.

Then I met Raquel at the Country Club in Antioch for a little dancing.

I have another story I need to write about racism, but I just don't have it in my right now. Plus, I'm off to teach a Zumba class and I sure don't need to be in a bad mood for that.

My name is Rosy, Chacha, Meez, Mama, Mother...take your pick. I am the sort of stay at home mother of 4. Sort of because of my Zumba and my Rodan and Fields jobs.

This is my personal blog intended for my family and friends and for anyone out there who enjoys a good laugh, likes to try out new recipes, likes kittens and loves Zumba. Welcome!

This is my nieces blog. She's cute: needs a facelift and makeover. I'll be working on that, too.
