April 2020 (and end of March)

Bon Voyage! I mean, Zoom Vonage!

So...when I left off, the clubs were closed down and I started doing virtual classes. And meeting virtually with friends. I was using the Vonage Platform for Zumba classes because it was free with no time limit and Zoom for meeting with friends.

First, the Bodega Babes got together on the 18th of March.

Then on Sunday night, the 22nd of March, we got together with other Clayton friends.

Clayton Friends

We had planned a reunion at my house for my St. Joseph's Elementary School friends for March 28 but Shelter in Place orders prevented us from getting together, but, we Zoomed! We've been meeting every Saturday. In addition to Michelle, Lucien, Charm, Kathy, Bev and me, we've been joined by Patsy, Eric, Larry and Arthur. It's been fun catching up and reminiscing.

St. Joseph's

Then on Sunday, March 29, we zoomed with the Walnut Country Pre-School moms (and dads). We're all scattered. Gregg and Wendy are in Colorado, Kristine Goodman in the deep South (hard), Carol, Trina and Christine are still in Concord. Susan is in Mill Valley and Evelyn is in Connecticut. It was nice to catch up!

The 29th was a busy Zoom day. I also connected with my IBM/Exigent buddies. Kathy and Robert, Cheri and Andrew, and Clay.

Then again that evening with the Clayton friends (and token Clayton friends since Lujan's moved).

On Monday, March 30, I chatted with my Zumba buddies, Mia (and Omar), Sepi and Zelia.

Then Nat was so bored she FaceTimed me.

So that's what life has been Zumba in Vonage and friend visits on Zoom. I found some abs under my fat. But that was like almost a month ago. I think they're lost in the fat again.

Abs

My second born turned 41. Forty-one. Posted a pic in Dailies (click here).

I cleaned up my Zumba Gear. Apparently, I have 132 bottoms.

I have 238 tops.

31 pieces of outer wear.

And only 19 Zumba Bra Tops.

And 25 pair of Zumba Shoes.

Zumba Shoes

So this makes it easier for me to find outfits for me, Daisy and Lizzie. We could each wear a different outfit 4 times a week for a year and probably not wear the same ones twice! These were the original style when I first started Zumba in 2008. Yoga pants and belly skirts.

Lizzie, Daisy and Rosy

We quietly celebrated our 24th Anniversary on the 27th with a lovely Filet Mignon dinner.

Anniversary

So that sums up March and April in a nutshell. Dancing, dressing mannequins, Zooming and Vonaging. Beginning May 1, I'm getting an account to Zoom and switch my classes over there. Check out my Zumba pages if you'd like to join my classes! rosystraka.zumba.com or zumbaconsabor.com. And if you want to check out our costume changes, they are posted on the days I teach at my Zumba Instagram Account.

Peace out!

This is my nieces blog. She's cute: http://temptationofliving.tumblr.com/rosystraka.com needs a facelift and makeover. I'll be working on that, too.
